Lowri came to us on a 5 month work placement from the BA in Textiles at Huddersfield University in 2013 and worked on the costumes for JoJo & Billie as one of her projects.
She was responsible for designing from character specs, sourcing, measuring, cutting patterns and making the costumes.
She designed and embroidered the logos for each character (a rocket for JoJo and a tiger for Billie).
Lowri was our second placement from this programme and we love supporting young artists in the development of their professional practise. We also open our space up to artists of other mediums (writers, dancers, video artists) who may wish to develop work in a positive and creative atmosphere, please contact us for details.
